About
The Project
Overview
This was a conceptual project I did for personal development. The concept of this project was inspired by my grandmother who was a pianist. The objective was to create a brand identity and lead generation website for a private piano academy.
The objective was to create a bold and elegant brand identity that draws contextual inspiration while expressing it throughout the design using motifs—referencing musical notation and, more abstractly, concepts related to musical performance such as dynamism, expressiveness, and passion.
Art Direction

I wanted to use graphic elements relevant to the context and found that the shape of the piano keys work well in various applications. Piano keys are seen throughout the design.

I look for words to represent what I observed in the live performances of pianists. The two main words I came to were passion and elegance. I used the red rose to symbolize this visually.

I wanted to find as many graphic elements relevant to the context of the piano as I could. I found that the music sheet and notations worked very well in a verity of applications.
